Terms of sale

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These terms of sale complement the terms of use; see also the privacy policy and the legal notice.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the purchase of the ViaLooma Premium subscription by consumers in the markets we serve. Use of the service itself is governed by the terms of use.

2. Seller — Paddle as Merchant of Record

The sale is made through Paddle acting as Merchant of Record: your counterparty for the payment is — depending on your market — Paddle.com Market Ltd (United Kingdom) or Paddle Payments Ltd (Ireland). Paddle appears on your bank statement, issues the invoice, calculates and remits VAT, and handles refunds. The service itself is provided by Waypoint Factory SAS, 180 chemin du Plateau, 73240 Avressieux, France (legal notice).

3. Prices

The price is displayed before purchase, on the Premium page, in the currency Paddle determines for your billing country. It is inclusive of taxes in countries where that is the rule (the European Union in particular) and exclusive of taxes elsewhere: taxes are then calculated at payment, based on your address, and the mention sits beside the amount. The price displayed at the time of purchase always prevails.

4. The Premium subscription

Premium lifts the quotas of the free tier and unlocks three features reserved to it. No feature is removed from the free tier:

  • unlimited saved trips (instead of 3);
  • trips of up to 45 days (instead of 14);
  • unlimited favorites (instead of 300);
  • unlimited use of the Looma AI assistant (see the fair-use clause below);
  • features reserved to Premium: detailed campsite information, GPX export, and routing the itinerary through scenic roads.

The up-to-date comparison of the two tiers is published on the Premium page. If you downgrade, content above the quotas remains readable and usable; only new additions are limited.

Fair use of the AI. On the Premium plan, use of the AI assistance features is unlimited within the scope of personal, reasonable, non-automated use. To preserve the quality of the service for everyone, ViaLooma may apply temporary rate limitations in the event of use that is manifestly disproportionate to normal individual use, or of automated or fraudulent use, or use shared between several people. These limitations are temporary and do not lead to termination without prior formal notice.

5. Order and immediate performance

The contract is concluded upon payment confirmation in the Paddle checkout. Premium access is opened immediately after payment.

6. Right of withdrawal

For digital services you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because Premium access is provided immediately, at the time of purchase you expressly request immediate performance before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (confirmation collected during checkout).

7. Refunds

A refund is granted whenever one is due: a service that is not as described, under the legal guarantee (section 9); an incorrect or duplicate charge; and an unauthorised payment. Make the request via the link in your Paddle payment receipt (confirmation email), via Paddle's buyer portal, or through our contact form. Paddle issues refunds to the original payment method.

Outside those cases, because access opens immediately and the right of withdrawal was waived under section 6, a change of mind does not give rise to a refund. Your statutory rights (section 9) are unaffected in any event.

8. Duration, renewal and cancellation

The subscription renews automatically for one year until it is cancelled. Before an annual renewal, a reminder is emailed to you 30 days in advance.

You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period: in one click from "My account" or, without signing in, via the public cancellation page. Premium access is retained until the end of the paid period and the subscription can be reactivated until then. The current period is not refunded pro rata, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

9. Legal guarantee of conformity

Digital content and services carry the legal guarantee of conformity owed to consumers (Directive (EU) 2019/770 and its national transpositions): the service must be in conformity throughout the contract. In case of a lack of conformity you are entitled to have it brought into conformity or, failing that, to a price reduction or termination. Reach us through the contact form.

10. Disputes and consumer mediation

If something goes wrong, contact us first through our contact form: a written complaint to us is the necessary first step before any mediation. If it is not resolved within one month, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence in the European Union, which you retain in any event.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may change: the version published on this page, with its update date, is the one that applies. A change never applies retroactively to a period already paid for — it takes effect at your next renewal. If it does not suit you, you may cancel before that date: your subscription then runs to the end of the current period, on the terms you accepted.

13. Contact

For any question about these terms of sale or your subscription: through our contact form.
