Looma AI
One sentence is enough. Looma AI asks a question or two, suggests a region, builds the itinerary, then reshapes it on request. With real places, never invented ones.
Hello! I’m Looma, your AI co-pilot
Tell me what you feel like: I’ll suggest a destination, then build your itinerary to measure.

Create this itineraryThe planner
ViaLooma proposes, you decide: every day can be moved, split or lightened, every stop swapped, and the road dragged with a finger to pass wherever you like.

Every stop, told
Every place has its page: the photo, the story in a few lines, what to know before you go — and Looma for the question that remains. Real places, documented, never invented.

Our story
There are those mornings when we slide the van door open onto a landscape we didn’t know the night before: a desert, a mountain pass, a cove at the end of a dirt track. ViaLooma was born of those mornings — and of all the searching it took us to find them.
“We” means Claire and me, Fred. She digs up the spots and draws the route; I happily follow — and I built the tool we were missing.

Read our storyYes, in three ways: A route (a starting point and a duration), Places (the ones you want to see) or A wish (in one sentence). The full itinerary is generated at once, no sign-up. The first days show in full; to see the rest and save the trip, a free account is enough.
Without an account, your selection of places stays on your device, and your draft is kept while you sign up: you come back to the trip exactly where you left it.
In 37 countries across three continents: France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Denmark, Albania, Greece, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Czechia, Ireland, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The starting point has to be in one of them; elsewhere, the itinerary cannot be built.
Yes — that is the heart of the project. You set the driving time per day and the pace of the trip; the stops are places you want to pull over for; campsites are on the map all along the way; and with Premium, the scenic routes take you along the most beautiful roads.
The size of your vehicle is not taken into account: check heights, widths and access restrictions before you set off.
The essentials are free: generating a trip, exploring it, reshaping it, saving and sharing it — up to 14 days per trip, 3 saved trips, and a monthly allowance of Looma AI.
Premium removes the limits: unlimited Looma AI — itineraries, changes, questions about a stop —, trips of up to 45 days, unlimited saved trips and favourites, the scenic routes, the campsite detail sheet — and the GPX export to your GPS.
Looma AI, ViaLooma’s conversational assistant, suggests a destination, reshapes the trip on request and answers questions about each stop, picking places from ViaLooma’s database and never inventing one.
Three uses. A wish: you have no destination — describe what you feel like in a sentence, it asks one or two questions, proposes a region and builds the itinerary. Looma, guide me: from the itinerary, it actually changes the trip — "make day 2 quieter", "add a medieval village" — and Undo takes the change back.
Looma, I have a question: from a stop’s page, it answers about that very place. You can keep a summary of the exchange, visible to you alone.
